AKEZ Warranty Information

Limited Warranty for Original Purchasers

Every new AKEZ electric bike comes with a 1-year limited manufacturer’s warranty for the original retail purchaser. This warranty covers manufacturer defects only (battery, motor, controller, display, sensors, and frame welds).


Warranty Coverage

AKEZ will repair or replace defective components deemed faulty due to manufacturing issues, provided all conditions below are met:

  • The bike was purchased directly from www.akezglobal.com or an authorized AKEZ dealer

  • The warranty applies only to the original owner (non-transferable)

  • The bike has been used under normal riding conditions and intended purposes

  • Electronics have not been altered, repaired, or modified by unauthorized parties

Covered Components (within 1 year of purchase):

  • Frame welds

  • Battery (capacity loss >30% within 1 year)

  • Motor & Controller

  • Display, sensors, and wiring harness


Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes, bearings, grips, saddle, bolts, etc.)

  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, paint wear)

  • Damage from improper assembly, neglect, accidents, misuse, or abuse

  • Issues caused by water damage, overloading, or off-road use beyond intended design

  • Damage from third-party parts, modifications, or improper storage/charging of the battery

  • Shipping damage (claims must be filed with the courier within 3 days of delivery)


Warranty Claim Process

  1. Contact AKEZ Support within 3 days if your bike arrives damaged

  2. Provide photos or videos clearly showing the issue

  3. AKEZ will determine if the claim is covered under warranty

  4. If approved, AKEZ will ship replacement parts free of charge (labor costs after 30 days are customer’s responsibility)

  5. If the part is not in stock, AKEZ reserves the right to use equivalent substitute components


Customer Responsibilities

  • Inspect your bike immediately upon delivery

  • Perform regular maintenance (tightening bolts, lubrication, brake adjustments)

  • Use only approved chargers and store batteries properly

  • Ensure rider weight + cargo does not exceed the model’s load capacity
